Marine Operations Project Engineer - Wave EnergyMarine Operations · Stockholm, Viana do Castelo
We’re the Marine Operations team at CorPower Ocean. Our team is responsible for the engineering and execution of all marine operations within CorPower Ocean, including the installation of our Wave Energy Converters (WECs) and associated seabed infrastructure such as subsea cables and our patented UMACK anchors. We ensure every offshore campaign is carried out safely, efficiently, and in full alignment with project objectives.
Our work spans the entire lifecycle of marine operations—from detailed planning to execution. This includes developing procedures and schedules, designing installation aids, rigging plans, and deck layouts. We specify and source vessels, installation spreads, and specialized equipment. During the execution phase, we coordinate vessels, equipment, and personnel to manage complex offshore operations in challenging environments.
Beyond engineering and execution, we work closely with other teams across CorPower Ocean to provide operational feedback and insights that drive continuous design improvements.
In short, we’re the team that makes ocean deployment happen—transforming innovative technology into real-world energy production.
About CorPower Ocean
CorPower Ocean is a global leader in Wave Energy technology. The ocean forms one of the largest yet least explored renewable energy sources on earth. We bring a new class of high efficiency Wave Energy Converters (WECs) enabling robust and cost-effective harvesting of electricity from ocean waves. The design principle is inspired by the pumping principles of the human heart and offers five times more energy per ton of device compared to previously known technologies, allowing a large amount of energy to be harvested using a small and low-cost device. A unique transparent protection mode brings survivability in the toughest storm conditions. We are headquartered in Sweden with offices in Portugal, Scotland and Norway.
