We are looking for a hands-on Electrical Engineer with experience in medium & high voltage substations to lead and drive our floating collection hub project, working together with experts in the field in Sweden and Portugal.
Lead and drive our hub project through all phases – such as design, manufacturing, installation, certification, and safety.
Define the electrical architecture, taking into account CorPack specifications.
Work together with supplier for detailed design drawings
Analyze the stability and sizing constraints of the installations by digital simulation.
Define the layout of the installations, considering the normative aspect.
Carry out the protectability studies of the installations, considering the applicable grid code
Define the equipment (protection relay, means of communication, etc.)
Carry out protection tests and commissioning on site.
Configure protection relays (multi-brands)
The job will require being able to travel 50% of the working time.
Skills and Qualifications
5+ years of experience in Substations.
Proven experience is more important than academic degrees.
Our dream candidate will have manufactured, installed, commissioned, documented Substations.
Significant experience in Energy/Utility substation design.
Knowledge of relevant standards.
Experience within IEC61850, HMI (SCADA), event and database handling, communication protocols.
You like to troubleshoot and test your own solutions.
